A day after BJP president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah began election campaign in Jharkhand, it was the turn of party's working president J P Nadda on Friday to continue with BJP's campaign by firming up the ground work.

Addressing a large gathering of booth level workers at Chaibasa, Nadda exhorted them not only to ensure BJP's win, but take the tally beyond 65 seats in the 81-seats assembly. "Our aim this time is to go beyond the target of 65 seats. It is not a difficult task as the people of the state have already rejected the Congress, Jan Mukti Morcha and their alliance partners," said Nadda.

In his address he told the booth workers what all issues they should take up before the people to ensure a big win for the BJP whose membership has grown from 11 crore to 17 with the addition of 6 crore new members during the current drive.

LAUDS PM, ATTACKS RAHUL GANDHI

  • Nadda credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for changing the work culture of politics by making it people-centric and bringing the man standing at the end into the mainstream.

  • He also slammed Congress and Rahul Gandhi for speaking the language of Pakistan and helping enemy country use those iterations for raising objections in the UN

Crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for changing the work culture of politics by making it people centric and bring the man standing in the last into the mainstream, Nadda said, public is aware that Congress & Company had made politics as a way to benefit their own family and indulge in corruption.

"PM Modi and union home minister Amit Shah have realised the dreams of Indian public by abrogating the provisions of Article 370 and 35A and opening up new doors of development in Jammu and Kashmir," said Nadda asking people to come forward in helping Jammu and Kashmir assimilate with the rest of India and make it again a heaven on earth.

He attacked Congress and Rahul Gandhi for speaking the language of Pakistan and thus helping the enemy country use those iterations for raising objections in the United Nations to discredit India.

"Here are we, who are working day and night for the development of Jammu and Kashmir and the welfare of the people and on the other side are people like Rahul Gandhi and his friend Omar Abdullah who are helping Pakistan," said Nadda.
