Aam Aadmi Party will take a call as to whom to field against Narendra Modi after BJP finalises his seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"Let Modi declare from which constituency he will be fighting elections and after that AAP will decide on who will contest against him," AAP leader Sanjay Singh told reporters here today.

He said AAP will contest all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat.

Singh, the core committee member of AAP, was here to hold deliberations on the party strategy for the polls.

He claimed AAP has registered five lakh people as party workers in Gujarat.

"The main thing in selection of candidates for Lok Sabha elections will be their character," Singh said, adding the party will also do a background check on the aspirants.

He said the state-level committee of AAP will screen those coming forward to contest polls and send a report to the national committee which will take a final call on allotting tickets.

Singh alleged that Gujarat government's intelligence wing was harassing AAP members who have organised a meeting for spreading the view of the party.

"People of Gujarat IB had gone to the houses of one Pervez Begum Pathan and retired police officer D V Damor to intimidate them," Singh alleged.

He said AAP will take up the issue of high power tariff in Gujarat.
