Aam Aadmi Party Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann on Thursday said he would again post a Facebook live of his journey from his home to the Parliament, refuting allegations that it may pose a security threat to the Parliament. Mann posted such a video on Facebook on Thursday which drew criticisms from all corners.
"Is it illegal and inappropriate to post a video showing how questions are taken up in Parliament during the Question Hour? Did my video pose a security threat to Parliament? I will do a live video again tomorrow, let them serve me a notice,' the AAP MP said.
"I don't believe that by telling people how Zero Hour questions are submitted will put Parliament in danger," he added.
"I come to Parliament everyday between 8.30 and 9 a.m. to submit question for the 'Zero Hour'. Besides, in a democracy, people are bigger than leaders," said Mann.
"How lucky draw is taken out that decides who are going to speak in Parliament. Is it inappropriate to tell all these things to people, who have voted and sent us here to raise their problems? asked Mann.
In the 11 miniutes 52 minutes long video, Mann not only narrates the security procedures that an MP are subjected to, while entering the Parliament building. Mann also records the procedure of asking questions during Zero Hour.
Reacting to Maan's video, BJP's Meenakshi Lekhi said, 'It needs to be verified if it was an act of foolishness or was done under influence of some agencies.'
AAP leader Ashutosh said he is yet to speak to Mann and only after that can he comment on the matter.
