The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday hit back at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the arrest of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, saying they always put the onus on others but never introspect their own behaviour and attitude.

"This whole party is an organisation of criminals, especially seeing their attitude towards women and the cases in which its leaders are involved. Delhi has now become a centre of crime," BJP Delhi chief Satish Upadhyay told ANI. "When the police arrests the AAP MLAs involved in such activities, they blame Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, but never see their behaviour and attitudes," he added.

Following the arrest of Khan on charges of allegedly threatening a woman, Kejriwal launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister Modi, accusing him of being behind the arrest. "Just in - Modiji arrests one more AAP MLA," tweeted Kejriwal.

The alleged incident took place on July 10 when a 35-year-old woman went to Khan's residence in South Delhi's Batla House locality after a telephonic conversation with him to complain about poor electricity supply in the area. The complainant has alleged that a supporter of Khan was abusing her on the orders of the AAP MLA. The AAP leader is likely to be produced before the Saket Court this afternoon.

However, the AAP yesterday rubbished charges that its Okhla MLA misbehaved with a woman and instead claimed that the Delhi Police 'pressurised' the woman to give a false statement against its legislator.
