A website based on Haryana's Assembly launched on June 17

A website, based on the proceedings of the Haryana Assembly, was today launched by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here.

The website www.hryvidhansabhahistory.com has been prepared by Congress MLA Sampat Singh.

According to Singh, all the proceedings of the Assembly since the formation of Haryana in the year 1966 is available on the website.

On the occasion, Singh apprised Hooda that the proceedings of the first session of Haryana Assembly was held on December 6, 1966 and the photographs of the then leaders participating in the discussions had been uploaded on the website.

Besides, the website also has the details of debates in which veteran leaders like Ranbir Singh Hooda and Chiranji Lal Sharma took part.

Hooda was informed that profiles of the candidates who have remained the members of the Assembly and the details about their constituencies, educational qualification and election results were also available on the website.

Singh said he would soon update the photo gallery of the website and upload the rare photographs of various political leaders.
