The Eastern Railway will run eight pairs of special trains between Ranchi and Bhagalpur for pilgrims going to the Shravani Mela, Eastern Railway sources said.

The 08603 Ranchi Bhagalpur Shravani Mela special would leave Ranchi at 12.15 pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays from July 15 to August eight to reach Bhagalpur at 3.45 am on Wednesdays and Sundays, the sources said.

The 08604 Bhagalpur Ranchi Shravani Mela special would depart Bhagalpur at 4.55 pm on Wednesdays and Sundays from July 16 to August nine to reach Ranchi at 7.25 am on Thursdays and Mondays.

The trains will have general second class coaches and stop at Muri, Bhojudih, Madhupur and Sultanganj stations enroute.

Earlier, 66 pairs of special trains for Shravani Mela at Baidyanath Dham in Jharkhand and eight pairs of special trains for Shravani Mela at Tarakeswar in West Bengal were announced for the convenience of pilgrims, the sources said.
