External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday granted a visa to Pakistani girl for open heart surgery in India.

"Respected Sushma Swaraj mam my daughter need open heart surgery. I applied in August, still the visa is in process. Please help us," tweeted a patient's mother Nida Shoaib.

Replying to the tweet, Swaraj said, "Yes, we are allowing Visa for your 7 years old daughter's open heart surgery in India. We also pray for her early recovery."

Earlier in July, Sushma granted medical visa to a Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) resident Osama Ali, who was diagnosed with a tumour and wanted to come to Delhi for his treatment.

In a similar incident in June, Sushma granted a medical visa to a four-month-old toddler from Pakistan, who then underwent a successful heart surgery at Jaypee Hospital in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Sushma is popular wide across the globe for her active presence on social media and immediate address of people trying to reach out to her.
