7 members of family found dead in Jharkhand's Ranchi

In a shocking incident, seven members from the family in Jharkhand's Ranchi were found dead.

According to initial information, the family members hanged themselves due to financial issues.

"Prima facie, it appears that two brothers killed rest of their family, then hanged themselves due to financial issues," reported ANI quoting DIG AV Homkar.

Among those dead include — two brothers, their father, two women, a boy child and a girl infant.

"Children and their father were strangulated. Mother had injuries from a sharp weapon. All things would be clear after postmortem," DIG Homkar said.

Police have also recovered two suicide notes. One consisting 15-pages and another of two pages.
