Seven persons were on Saturday injured, two of them seriously, in an open firing between two groups of the same community in Dilawarpur village here, police said.
According to police, both the groups clashed on some local issues related to them and exchanged the firing, leaving seven persons injured. The two seriously injured were referred to trauma centre Lucknow and rest were given the primary aid in a local hospital, they said.
An FIR has been lodged against 12 and some unknown persons at Piparpur police station in the matter, police said. No arrest has been made till the report came in.
