1. Sudipto Sen allegedly produced promotional video for Trinamool Congress: Investigations have shown that Saradha group chief Sudipto Sen had produced a promotional video for Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress party just before the Bidhansabha elections in 2011. However, due to the orders of the Election Commission, the video was never shown in public. The video was allegedly shot in Nalban in Kolkata in 2001. The video with running time of more than 4 minutes, cost Rs 5.5 lakh to be shot and produced.
2. Police refuse to help molested woman: A woman who was molested in the busy New Market area of Kolkata on Sunday evening has been refused help by local police. According to the woman, police refused to file case of molestation. They asked her to make peace with the alleged perpetrators. They filed a case under charges with bailable provisions. Today morning the boys who allegedly molested the woman were finally arrested by the police. Coincidentally the woman in question is the main witness in the infamous Park Street rape case.

4. Police inspector dead in Birbhum, allegations against TMC: A police sub inspector belonging to Auliwa in Birbhum died today. He was severely injured while trying to stop a political skirmish between TMC and CPIM. The main accused in this case is Sheikh Alim, who is a district TMC functionary. According to police he is currently absconding though locals say that he is roaming freely in the area. Birbhum is infamous for strong arm techniques taken by TMC district President Anubrato Mandal.
5. Police asks for money to register complaint from molested woman: A college student who was molested while coming back from tuition has been harassed by Uluberia police. Police asked for money to merely file complain. Even when the girl complied they refused to take strong action in the matter. Finally after 24 ghanta intervened police was forced to take the matter seriously.
