3 teenagers drown in Yamuna on Ganga Dusherra day

Three young boys today drowned while taking a holy dip in river Yamuna on the occasion of Ganga Dusherra here, police said.

The boys drowned near Bela village under Pachayagaon police station area this morning, ADySP, Sarvanand Singh said.

The deceased have been identified as Ankit (11), Sagar(13) and Ram Kumar (11), Singh added. 

People in Allahabad take holy dips in the river Ganges to celebrate the festival 'Ganga Dussehra', which marks the descent of river Ganges on the earth.
