Supreme Court on Friday stayed proceedings on all pending petitions related to the 2G spectrum scam case in the Delhi High Court.

The step was taken to ensure that nothing impacts the 2G spectrum auction scheduled for November 12, the court said.

"We are clear that as per our direction, government has to undertake exercise for grant of license for 2G spectrum for 22 circles," the apex court said.

SC also pulled up the government for not auctioning 2G spectrum as per its February 2 directions.
