Terrorists on Saturday ambushed an Army convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu highway, leaving two soldiers dead and four others injured near Lower Munda in Qazigund area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district.

The attack comes hours after Pakistan again violated the ceasefire on the Line of Control and fired indiscriminately on Indian forward positions and civilian areas, leaving one woman injured in Poonch and Krishna Ghati sectors of Jammu division. Terrorists lobbed grenades and fired indiscriminately on the troops.

Meanwhile, Army on Saturday denied the claims of Pakistani army that its troops had killed five Indian soldiers in retaliation to Indian firing along the LoC.
