13 CRPF men killed in Naxal attack in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh

In a ghastly attack, Naxals have killed 13 CRPF men in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. The casualty includes 2 CRPF officers too. 

According to reports, the encounter started at 10 AM in the morning. The operation is still going on. The exact place of the encounter is 10-12 kilometres far from Chintagufa in Sukma district. This is quite near the place where 76 CRPF men were killed in 2008-09. There are also reports of casualty in the naxal side though exact figure is not available. 

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has dubbed the incident as unfortunate and said that it needs to be worked out how left wing extremism can be contained more effectively.
