12 people injured in Delhi cylinder blast

In the incident that took place in a house in New Ashok Nagar in east Delhi, all the injured are neighbours.

At least 12 people, including four women, suffered burns when an apparently leaking cooking gas cylinder burst here Thursday, police said. Three of them were in critical condition. The incident took place in a house in New Ashok Nagar in east Delhi. All the injured were neighbours.

Three of the victims - Hariram, 46, his wife Ramrati, 36, and their neighbour Shobha, 36 - suffered 65-85% burn injuries and they were said to be in critical condition, a police officer said.
