101 officers of Rajasthan police transferred

In a major rejig, Rajasthan government has transferred 101 officers of the state police service.

Officers of the ranks of Additional Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police were transferred, according to an order issued yesterday by the Home Department.

ASP Jaisalmer Arun Machya will now be ASP Deeg, in Bharatpur district. While ASP Baram Asharam Chaudhary will take charge as ASP Jaipur Municipal Corporation, it said.

Among other transfers, ASP Hanumangarh DD Singh has been shifted to Jaipur Crime Investigation Department (CID) on the same post, it added.
