Eman who was over 500 kgs when she was brought to Mumbai last month has already lost 100 kgs - mainly body fluids - with the help of medicines and bed-side physiotherapy.
Lakdawala's team has revealed that Eman is now on oral fluids and is accepting them well. They would focus on correcting all her associated medical problems so that she can be fit enough to fly back to Egypt as soon as possible.
Eman is in Mumbai with her sister Shaimaa Ahmed who has a toddler back in Alexandria to take care of.
Following bariatric surgery, patients can lose up to 75% of their body fat in a year. For Eman, the doctors hope to make her lose around 200 kgs in the next six months.
