In the video you can clearly see people recording the scene on their phone and then, the glacier wall starts sliding towards stuck cars. Frantic tourists can be heard screaming 'Go back!'.
The video has been rapidly shared by people and garnered 1.9k retweets and 3.9 likes till now.
People on social media expressed their concern over the incident, climate change at large and attracted a lot of comments, with many disputing the claim that it was a glacier that broke apart.
A user corrected the IFS officer and wrote: "This is not a glacier... this is part of an avalanche that is slipping on the road because even road has an ice layer over it & as a result, there is poor friction."
Some people even showed concerned about the tourists risking their lives to capture the moment. Take a look...
This is not a glacier - a small avalanche. Happens all the time in snow mountains. Not #ClimateChange :)

Amazing capture but how can someone be this foolish to play with an avalanche

Good to see this video. Crazy guys don't have any sense of safety/security. They are busy in recording it from very close.

This isn't glacier. And climate change is a constant but very minute process.

This is like Nature unleashing its monsters to wage war on us for abusing it. We deserve this.
