1 dead, 25 injured as building wall collapsed in Noida

A wall of a building that was under construction in sector 49 of Noida collapsed on Thursday afternoon, leaving one person dead and atleast 17 injured.

According to initial reports, the incident took place near Ram Chandra junior high school in Noida, where students were standing besides an under-construction building. Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to assist in the rescue work at the accident site.

Injured people have been taken to Noida district hospital, while the condition of three is said to be serious.
