The Tawang festival of Arunachal Pradesh kicked off on Friday, after Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the event. He was joined by the US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma and Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal.
Introduced in 2012, the Tawang festival aims at capturing the vibrance and the culture of Arunachal Pradesh, in order to boost the tourism in the state.
