The Prime Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on August 5.
The construction of the Ram temple will begin after the ceremony to lay the foundation stone.
The Supreme Court had in November last year ruled in the favour of a temple after a prolonged battle in the Babri Masjid dispute case.
1. Which gods are worshipped other than Lord Ram?

Besides Lord Rama, prayers are also being offered to King Dasharatha, Queen Kaushalya during 'Ram Archana'. Special prayers are also being held for all those who helped Lord Ram during the epic war with the demon king 'Ravana' like - Hanuman, Nal & Neel, Sugriva, Jamwant and Vibhishan.
2. When did the ceremony begin?

Ram Archana starts at Ram Janmabhoomi campus at 8:30 am. The religious ceremonies started with offering special prayers to Lord Hanuman at Hanumangarhi as a part of an old tradition of ‘Nishan Puja’ in Hindu rituals.
3. Saints from Varanasi, Ayodhya, Delhi, Haridwar and South India at Ram Archan Puja

It is believed that Lord Rama will be pleased through ‘Ram Charan Pujan. For pleasing the deity, ‘Ram Charan' is worshiped in a special way.

4. Lal Krishna Advani, other prominet BJP leaders not invited to Bhoomi Pujan

Lal Krishna Advani, Kalyan Singh and Joshi will not attend the Bhoomi Poojan program of Ram temple, the invitation was not given due to old age,
Uma Bharti will be present on Ayodhya Saryu Coast, but will not join Bhoomi Poojan.
5. Security tightened in Ayodhya

Ahead of the 'Bhoomi Pujan' on August 5, security arrangements have been tightened in Ayodhya. The entry of outsiders has been prohibited till August 5.
