A contingent of over a hundred United Kingdom Army personnels were in Rajasthan to take part in the Indo-UK joint military exercise Ajeya Warrior 2017. Ajey Warrior 2017 is the third joint biannual Indo UK war exercise. 

The joint exercise took place at Mahajan in the Western sector of Rajasthan from December 1 to 14.

The troops participating in the joint exercise are from 20th Battalion of The Rajputana Rifles of the Indian Army and the 1st Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment of the Royal British Army.
