Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will address various rallies in Tripura ahead of the Assembly elections in the state.
However, before addressing rallies in Tripura, PM Modi will make a pitstop in Arunachal Pradesh and will inaugurate the Dorjee Khandu state convention center at a function in Itanagar. The centre is expected to become a significant landmark of the city. The Prime Minister will also dedicate the state civil secretariat building to the nation and will lay the foundation stone of the academic block of the Tomo Riba institute of health and medical science.
BJP is planning to go big in the northeastern states this time in the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya.
PM Modi will be campaigning in Tripura along with other senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders for the February 18 polls.
In its bid to unseat four-time Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Prime Minister Modi will address rallies in Santirbazar of South Tripura and Agartala of West Tripura districts.
