Mounting his attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, sacked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi water Minister Kapil Mishra on Sunday launched a campaign to 'clean' AAP, saying a Delhi based businessman funded senior party leaders Russia trip.
Addressing the media, Mishra said, "There are 4-5 corrupt people in the Aam Aadmi Party, we need to throw them out."
Stating that it was not the time to leave the party but reclaim it, Mishra added, "Give a missed call at 7863037300 to fight against corruption."
Further claiming that a Delhi-based businessman funded Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh’s trip to Russia, Mishra also alleged that the businessman, Sheetal Prasad Singh, was linked to several companies involved in a Rs 400 crore scam.
"Do you know about Sheetal Singh who sponsored Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh's Russia trip? Do you know that Rs 400 crore high security number plate scam took place in Delhi and Sheetal Prasad Singh has direct connection with it," Mishra said in a series of tweets.
Mishra also said that he profusely apologise to Prashant Bhushan ji and Yogendra Yadav ji, saying, "We should have paid heed to their views back then."
Mishra, whose vociferous campaign against the Delhi Chief Minister continues in full steam, entered its third round on Friday as he leveled a new set of charges against Kejriwal.
Mishra has also challenged Kejriwal to inform the Income Tax Department that the donation amount received by AAP was from Mukesh Kumar.
