Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Mysuru late Sunday night on a day-long visit to Karnataka. Modi was received by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and Union Ministers Ananth Kumar and Prakash Javadekar at Mysuru airport.
The Prime Minister will today attend a function at the Mysuru Railway Station, where he will dedicate to the nation, the electrified Mysuru-Bengaluru railway line.
He will also visit Shravanabelagola for the Bahubali Mahamasthakabhisheka Mahotsava. He is also scheduled to address via video conferencing the World Conference on Information Technology, being held in Hyderabad.
PM Modi will flag off the Palace Queen Humsafar Express between Mysuru and Udaipur, besides addressing a public meeting in Mysuru later in the day.
