Complete coverge: President Mukherjee's swearing-in ceremony

Pranab Mukherjee has left for Rajghat.  He will later go to the Parliament House and after taking oath he will proceed to his new residence - Rashtrapati Bhavan.

He is accompanied to Rajghat by Union Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath.

Actor Mithun Chakraborty part of Pranab's entourage who had flown in with Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee last night. He will also be present when the President elect takes the oath, reports NDTV.

Pranab Mukherjee arrives at Rashtrapati Bhawan, will be sworn-in at 11:38 am.

The swearinmg-in ceremony will take place at the Central Hall of Parliament.

Chief Justice of India SH Kapadia will administer the oath of office in the presence of Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Union ministers, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, governors, chief ministers and a host of dignitaries.

Mukherjee's key aide Pradyut Guha said that the President elect was very happy, calm and quiet as he left for the oath taking ceremony.

Talking about his attire, Goha said, "Mukherjee wore a new type of dress. He was wearing choga and achkan".
