*After lisitng questions for Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal's convoy has been stopped by Gandhinagar police for interrogation. He has been stopped from moving forward towards Modi's house. A FIR was filed by Election commission against Kejriwal for violating the poll code of conduct and holding a road show without permission. Manish Sisodia of AAP has gone to Chief Minister's enclave to procure permission.
*Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had set out to meet BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at his residence in Gujarat to question him on development claims for Gujarat.
*He has listed questions on usage of solar energy, oil prices, and Modi's personal expenses on private jets and ships, among other questions.
*The first question that Kejriwal mentioned was the prices of oil from KG D6 basin where Reliance has ownerships, a direct attack on Ambani.
*The second question was about Gujarat governments failure to issue tenders and purchasing solar energy. Kejriwal asked, "Why do you purchase expensive solar energy without following the tendering process".
*He further added that Modi had made claims of agricultural reforms and growth in Gujarat but when the AAP visited Gujarat, all these claims fell flat. "You claim of 11% growth in agricultural produce in Gujarat but there has been steady fall in agricultural produce since 2006. So, what are your calculations based on?"
*On corruption, he said Gujarat citizens are tired of bureaucratic corruption in the state where corruption is rampant. He also questioned Modi's developmental model by asking, "Is your business model only based on improving the lives of rich and shutting down business of poor?"
*He also questioned the credibility of Modi's key aides by stating that they were corrupt and Modi should try and find better aides for BJP. He also questioned Modi on allowing key members from the Ambani family getting sops and benefits from the Gujarat government.
*"You promised in your rally at Gujarat that land-grabbing won't happen with Sikhs. But a petition is already pending in the Supreme Court against this. So, why don't you take that back and fulfill your promises?" Kejriwal asked.
*On the issue of the rich gaining benefits, he said water had been diverted from Kucth to business development areas and this was grave injustice. Add to this the land grabbing cases where land was sold at cheap rates to Tata and other businessess, the poor are suffering in the state.
*Questions were raised on unemployment and education, along with the daily wages scheme that underpays educated workers.
*He said, "there are 600 students per school and only one teacher and even the health facilities are in a state of disarray."
*He also questioned the medical facilities in Gujarat and said medicines were priced exorbidantly and hence people were suffering.
*At the end, he asked, "You travel in cars and private jets. Do they belong to you or do you pay for their services. How many of them do you have?"
