OPINION: ‘Shareholders must be avenged’

While writing the book NDTV Frauds, I was astonished at the number of links that existed between the media organization and the Congress party. In particular, the role of Palaniappan Chidambaram needs to be probed, owing to the fact that large sums of money he allegedly got as bribes are parked here.

The amount of hubris and arrogance displayed by the Roys, the promoters of NDTV, comes from their belief that their patrons will pull all strings necessary to ensure that their investment in NDTV is saved. I hope justice is served to the long-suffering shareholders (about 40,000) and the Roys, along with PC and other corrupt, are in jail.
