In a shocking incident, two minor daughters of a farmer were raped in front of family members by four persons at Gadhai village in Madhya Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when Jitendra Rawat, Mahipal Rawat, Rajesh Rawat and Kuldeep Rawat of Adhak village thrashed the farmer at his residence and held his family members hostage at knife-point, they said.
According to police, Jitendra and the farmer were engaged in a land dispute.
The accused dragged the minor sisters to some distance and took turns to rape them, police said.
A case under various sections of IPC, including rape, was registered with Karera police.
The sisters were admitted in the district hospital, police said.
