A married woman was allegedly gang-raped by two men after she was kidnapped from a secluded place in Pithampur industrial town, about 40 km away from Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, when she went to attend nature's call.
The incident took place on March 13, when three unidentified men allegedly kidnapped the 28-year-old woman from near a township in Pithampur town in a vehicle and took her to the nearby forests, where two of them gangraped her, the police said on Monday.
After that, they dumped her and she somehow managed to reach a nearby village and inform her husband, who took her away from the village and reported the matter on Sunday at the Pithampur police station.
A case of rape was registered against the two rapists, besides a case of kidnapping against the third person.
Efforts are on to trace the accused, Pithampur police station in-charge GP Dube said.
