It is ‘business as usual’ on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road in the Kashmir valley.
Tensions on borders notwithstanding, the cross-LoC trade on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road remained unaffected for the second week in a row. However, the cross-LoC trade and bus continues to remain suspended on the Poonch-Rawlakote road in Jammu division.
Forty-five trucks loaded with bananas, tomatoes, pineapples and other items crossed the Aman Sethu-Kaman post into Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Wednesday. Twenty-six trucks carrying fruits, onion, potato and herbal fresh different items crossed into the Indian side from Muzaffarabad.
On Tuesday, 50 trucks carrying tomatoes, pineapples and spices crossed into PoK from Aman Sethu on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road. Twenty-six trucks carrying different items crossed from the other side into the Indian side at Aman-Sethu Kaman Bridge.
