An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her relative in Rasoolpur village under the Satrikh police station area in Barabanki, police said.
The girl was at a field last evening when her distant relative Sanjay (30) lured to a secluded place and allegedly raped her, they said.
Later, the girl was found unconscious by her family members, police said, adding that the victim later recounted the incident to her family members.
The minor has been sent for medical examination and the accused arrested, police added.
