Youth posts nude pics of NRI girl for green card

A youth, Hemant Khatri (28) has been arrested allegedly for blackmailing Pooja Patel (name changed) by posting her nude pictures and vulgar messages on Orkut. He is accused of trying to coerce the girl into providing him a green card.

Khatri, who claims he and Pooja were married when she was in the city two years back, was nabbed by sleuths of the city crime branch on Saturday. JCP (crime) Ashish Bhatia said the police had arrested
Khatri and would seek his custody on a three-day remand.

Khatri, a resident of Bindu Park, Sabarmati, met Pooja (25) some years back when the two worked together. Two years ago, the girl returned to her family in Canton city, USA.

Even after the girl returned to the US, Khatri, however, continued to call and message her, claiming he had married her in court and that she was his wife.

The girl denied all these claims. Later, using the girl's personal e-mail ID, Khatri posted her nude pictures and vulgar messages on Orkut.
