Ever thought Destiny's Child's song 'Survivor' will easily sum up the adventures of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider? If you did, you are a genius!

Warner Bros released second official trailer for Alicia Vikander's Tomb Raider on Thursday. Set to a thumping, techno-dubstep rendition of Beyonce's song with her former group, the trailer shows how Lara Croft finds herself in the middle of nowhere trying to find the truth about her father's disappearance.

We see Lara (Vikander) zoom in and out of the small allies and heavy traffic of London on her sleek bike, giving us the general idea of gutsy nature of the lass. She embarks upon a journey to 'Devil's Sea' to find her father and there for the first time we see her take the iconic leap into the water the video game players are so familiar with.

Viewers also get an idea of what and who Lara will be dealing with as she solves ancient puzzles and clears obstacles one by one.

The second trailer gets more daring than the first one with Vikander slicing through all the action scenes like a hot knife to the butter.

Daniel Wu as Lu Ren accompanies Vikander. Dominic West plays Lord Richard Croft. Kristin Scott Thomas, Hannah John-Kamen, Nick Frost are some of the cast members. Walton Goggins plays the manic, calculating villain Mathias Vogel.

The official synopsis of the movie reads - Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.

The movie on the heels of the 20th anniversary of the wildly popular video game franchise.

Angelina Jolie had made archaeology sexy with her portrayal of the character in 2001. Vikander takes it to more brutal planes.

Directed by Roar Uthaug, Tomb Raider will hit the theatres on March 16, 2018.
