A lot goes on in creating a cinematic universe and nobody knows it better than Deadpool.

One more time, in order to get closer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the creators (Read Deadpool aka Ryan Reynolds who always wants to be one of the Avengers) released a featurette chronicling the first phase of the 'Deadpool Universe' over this last decade.

Taking the cue from Marvel's celebration of completing their three phases of MCU, Deadpool takes the viewers behind the scenes to show the blood, sweat, footage leak, self-mockery, and everything else that was invested to bring Deadpool Universe where it stands now.

The footage begins with the tale of the year 2008 when the idea to bring Deadpool in X-Men universe was floated. In 2009, Reynolds played the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This, according to Deadpool was not what they had in mind. He also thinks that Reynolds' short-lived critically and a popularly panned stint as Green Lantern did not help at all. Until 2014, when the test footage of the movie leaked, FOX Studio wasn't interested in making the film at all. Come 2016, rest is history.

In the words of Merc With Mouth himself, "Ten years into it, Phase One has exceeded our wildest expectations. If you told me back then that one movie would spawn a two movie expansive universe, I'd have said that 'you are crazy'. But here we are, with actual actors, a moderate special effects budget, and several low-level X-Men. None of the big ones though. We gotta save something for Phase two."

This brilliant universe will continue it's saga when Deadpool 2 hits theatres on Friday.
