Amal Clooney, Rihanna and Donatella Versace - The 2018 Met Gala will be hosted by this impressive trio of powerful women.

They take over hosting duties from 2017's Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady.

While Clooney made her Met Gala debut in 2015, the 'Diamonds' singer has attended seven Met Galas and made her debut in 2007.

Meanwhile, Donatella Versace is a true Met Gala veteran, attending 16 of the events over the years.

Vogue also revealed the theme for one of the biggest nights in fashion, which is 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination'. Donatella Versace is also co-sponsoring the show alongside Stephen A. Schwarzman. The exhibit will feature the papal garb on loan from the Sistine Chapel sacristy which has never seen the outsides of the Vatican.

Around 150 Pieces, inspired by the religion, crafted by Coco Chanel, John Galliano, Christian Dior, and others will be on display for the show running from May 10 to October 8, 2018.

The annual event will be held at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 7, 2018.
