Reese Witherspoon confirms the making of 'Legally Blonde 3' and how

A few days ago, news of Legally Blonde 3 being in the works was doing rounds, but nothing was made official by the makers.

Actor Reese Witherspoon herself confirmed the news on her Instagram and Twitter handles by sharing a video which vividly screams that Legally Blonde 3.  

If the 'Elle Woods' clad in a pink bikini, floating in a pool (video) is not a nod to the making of the film then what is?

"It's true," Witherspoon captioned the video.

The video in which Reese is wearing a pink sequined bikini, while she floats in a pool past the camera, is a direct reference to the original movie.

Reese, 42, last played the character in 2003's Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.

After the actor's tweet, MGM Studios announced that the third part will release on Valentine's Day in 2020.

Witherspoon's production company Hello Sunshine is also expected to produce the film. 

It's been 15 years since the last Legally Blonde movie released. The original came out in 2001.

The second installment wasn't nearly as well-received as the first, so it seemed for a while that the possibility of a third installment was slim. But Reese
