Oscars 2018: Gael Garcia Bernal, Mary J Blige, Keala Settle set to perform

These artists will perform their songs nominated in Best Original Song category

Singers Gael Garcia Bernal, Mary J Blige, Andra Day, and Natalia LaFourcade will perform this year's nominated songs at the 90th Academy Awards ceremony, show producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd announced on Friday.

Other artistes to perform on the gala night are Miguel, Keala Settle, Common and Sufjan Stevens.

"We're excited to have these talented artistes showcase the powerful contribution music makes to filmmaking. It's a privilege to welcome them to the 90th Oscars stage," the producers said in a statement.

Bernal, LaFourcade and Miguel will perform the Oscar-nominated song "Remember Me" from Coco. The track, nominated in the Best Original Song category, has been composed and penned by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Bernal's credits also include the Oscar-winning films Babel (2006) and The Motorcycle Diaries (2004), as well as the Oscar-nominated films No (2012), El Crimen del Padre Amaro (2002), Y Tu Mama Tambien (2002) and Amores Perros (2000).

While Blige will perform "Mighty River," from Mudbound, the Oscar-nominated song she co-wrote with Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson, rapper Common and Andra Day will perform his Oscar-nominated song "Stand Up For Something" from Marshall.

Settle and Stevens will perform the Oscar-nominated songs "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman and "Mystery of Love," written for Call Me by Your Name respectively.

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 4 at the Dolby Theatre. The awards will air live on the ABC Television Network.
