Academy award winner, Jennifer Lawrence created a stir by announcing that she is taking a year off and in her free time she will work towards motivating young people to focus on politics. The 27-year-old actor had said she will step back from the spotlight in 2019 in order to focus all her energy on working with charity Represent Us.

"I'm going to take the next year off. I'm going to be working with this organisation as a part of Represent Us... Trying to get young people engaged politically on a local level. "It doesn't have anything to do with partisan (politics). It's just anti-corruption and stuff trying to pass state by state laws that can help prevent corruption, fix our democracy," Lawrence told Entertainment Tonight.

But now her representative has confirmed that she is not taking a year off. Lawrence currently has seven projects in her kitty, including an untitled film with Amy Schumer, Ron Howard's Zelda Fitzgerald biopic "Zelda", Adam McKay's "Bad Blood", Luca Guadagnino's "Burial Rites", and more.

The actor has repeatedly talked about taking a break from her acting career. She first discussed about it in September during an appearance on Today. "I'm taking one. I don't have anything set for two years," she told Savannah Guthrie.
