Veteran actor Jeff Bridges has hinted that Kingsman may return for the third time.

The 67-year-old actor, who played the role of Champagne aka Champ in the just-released sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, said his character could get more of a backstory if there is a third movie in the franchise, reported Den of Geek.

"I hear there's possibly a Kingsman 3 coming up, it might be if that does happen that some of his backstory will be revealed. Not too much backstory was put into this one, I didn't spend too much time on that," Bridges said.

Bridges stars alongside returning cast members Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Mark Strong as well as fellow newcomers Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Channing Tatum and Julianne Moore.

The franchise is created and directed by Matthew Vaughn.
