Kate Winslet was honoured with the Dilys Powell Award for excellence in film  by London Critics' Circuit on Sunday. On the occasion she said that she regrets working with certain 'men of power.'

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Winslet said that she had bitter regrets over the poor decisions she has made.

Winslet won her first Oscars trophy for her role in The Reader in 2009. The movie was produced by Harvey Weinstein. Winslet has also worked with Woody Allen in his movie Wonder Wheel. Both the men are accused of sexually harrasement.

"There are directors, producers and men of power who have for decades been awarded and applauded for their highly regarded work by both this industry and moviegoers alike," Winslet said.

"It has become clear to me that by not saying anything, I might be adding to the anguish of many courageous women and men. Sexual abuse is a crime. While it rests with the rule of law to pass judgment, it lies with all of us to listen to the smallest of voices and to never stop listening," the Titanic star continued.

Winslet was presented the award by her The Holiday co-sar Jude Law. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri took the top prizes of the night.
