Iranian Instagram star and Angelina Jolie's SPOOKY doppelganger arrested for blasphemy

An Instagram star in Iran, Sahar Tabar, has been arrested on blasphemy charges, a report on IANS stated. Sahar's Instagram account is filled with her spooky photos, which resemble Hollywood star Angelina Jolie.

Sahar had previously altered her face through cosmetic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie. She had made news even then. Tabar reportedl underwent 50 plastic surgeries to look like Jolie, but still has photos which are heavily edited. While posting the spooky images, Sahar is seen wearing hijab over her head, which is a common practiced on Tehran streets.

Currently, Sahar, according to reports on The National, quoting semi-official Tasnim news agency, has been detained for "cultural crimes and social and moral corruption". "She faces charges including blasphemy, inciting violence, gaining income through inappropriate means and encouraging youths to corruption," the report further mentioned.

In Tehran, Iran, where Sahar resides and made her career out of Instagram, the country has banned Facebook and Twitter. The photo sharing portal Instagram is the only social media platform allowed there.
