Fox dropped a brand new trailer for the latest movie in the X-Men franchise - The New Mutants, on Tuesday.

The first look of the trailer seems to be hovering dangerously close to the horror genre than the current rage of superhero movies. This affirms that after releasing gritty Logan earlier in the year and gambling on foul mouth Deadpool before that, Fox is exploring every angle and making most of their X-Men rights from Marvel.

Directed by Josh Boone of The Fault in Our Stars, the latest mutant movie gets rid of costumes and works with the fear factor of the powers of these new mutants can barely control.

The movie starrs young guns like Maisie Williams of Game of Thrones, Anya Taylor-Joy of The Witch, Charlie Heaton of Stranger Things, Henry Zaga of 13 Reasons Why, and Blu Hunt of The Original as the new mutants. Alice Braga plays Dr Cecilia Reyes who tells these mutant fledgelings that they are confined in that hospital because they are dangerous.

"Did you know baby rattlesnakes are more dangerous than adult ones?"

As if that comparison isn't threatening enough, the trailer is set to a creepy version of Pink Floyd's song 'A Brick In the Wall'!

Check out the trailer

The movie will hit theatres on April 13, 2018.
