George Clooney got talking during his one on one interview with David Letterman on his new show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. The conversation moved towards how the actor impressed his now wife Amal Clooney on their first date. The story is just as cute as you would imagine.

Amal Clooney is a world-renowned barrister and human rights activist who represents oppressed Yazidi women in court against ISIS. Clooney, on the other hand, is a Hollywood actor with interest in human rights activities.

But after their meeting at his villa in Italy,  Clooney wanted to impress Amal. So while composing the score for one of his movies at the iconic Abbey Road studio in London, he asked Amal to join him there for their first date.

Turns out at the time, Amal was taking legal action against the Muslim Brotherhood. She said and we quote Clooney's quote, "Well, I'm at the Muslim Brotherhood right now, but I'll come over right after."

Guess who was impressed by who then.

In another clip we see Clooney swooning over Amal and counting his blessings for having met her.

"I met someone who I would absolutely trade my life for. Her life meant more to me than my life," said Clooney.
