Actors Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown are in negotiations to join the sequel of Disney's "Frozen".

Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad are returning to reprise their roles as Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, respectively.

Both Wood and Brown are hot properties after winning Emmys 2018 nominations for their shows Westworld and This Is Us respectively.

Frozen is also a Broadway musical that was nominated in Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score Written for the Theatre categories of Tony Awards 2018.

The original movie released in 2014. It swept the awards season that year and earned $1.3 million at the worldwide box office. The song 'Let It Go' became a cultural phenomenon.

Last year, a 21-minute-long featurette titled Olaf's Frozen Adventure was attached to Disney Pixar's Coco. It is reportedly a bridge between two movies of the franchise. In the video, Olaf goes on a quest to find an apt holiday tradition for sisters Anna and Elsa.

Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will also be back to direct the animation film. Lee took charge as chief creative officer Walt Disney Animation Studios after John Lasseter was forced out following the sexual harassment accusations made against him.

Lee is penning the script, while Peter Del Vecho is producing the project.

The film is set to release on November 27, 2019.
