The arriving date for the 'Beast of Apocalypse' has finally been confirmed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have set a release date of January 11, 2019 for the reboot that stars David Harbour as the wise-cracking, well-meaning half-demon.

Official plot details haven't yet been released, however the film will be separate from Guillermo del Toro's original films.

The cast also includes Milla Jovovich as the villainous Blood Queen; Ian McShane as Hellboy's adopted father, Professor Broom; Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio, an officer at the Bureau for Paranormal Research.

Neil Marshall, the filmmaker behind Game of Thrones episodes 'Blackwater' and 'The Watchers on the Wall,' is going to helm the movie, based on the comics by Mike Mignola.

Mignola created Hellboy in 1993 as an indie comic about a demon, raised by a professor, working to fight supernatural evildoers for an organization called Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense.
