After scaring the bejesus out of everyone with the trailer for The Nun, Warner Bros' 30-seconds-long teaser released on Monday is achieving the same effect.

Small footage shows caretaker of a cemetery fall in a coffin in a grave six feet below the ground. The scared man calls for help as the lid of the coffin shuts close on him. In the short span of time, his flashlight dies and he has to see around him under the dim light of his lighter.

His breath gets heavy and in a matter of seconds, we see the notorious Nun's hands smother the groundskeeper. This exact moment is shocking the fans of fright.

This teaser is not the only scary thing that has been deployed to promote the movie. A jumpscare ad is scaring YouTube users to no limits. The ad appears before regular YouTube videos and it is without the 'jumpscare warning.' After a few seconds of beeping sound, the scary face of this nun appears out of nowhere leaving the viewers in shock.

The ad has been removed after complaints from the YouTube users that pointed out the teaser violates their rule of banning 'promotions that are likely to shock or scare.'

The story of The Nun revolves around a priest and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the suicide of a young Nun in a cloistered abbey in Romania. The duo confronts a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in Conjuring 2,  as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

The Nun stars Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, and Jonas Bloquet as local villager Frenchie. The cast also includes Charlotte Hope as the abbey’s Sister Victoria, Ingrid Bisu as Sister Oana, and Bonnie Aarons, reprising her Conjuring 2 role as the title character.

The movie is directed by Corin Hardy, this fright-fest is scheduled to release on September 7, 2018.
