Celebration time for Priyanka Chopra! Her Hollywood film 'A Kid Like Jake' gets selected for Sundance Film Fest

Priyanka Chopra is cloud nine. Her second Hollywood film post Baywatch has been selected for Sundance Film Festival 2017. The actress took to Twitter to celebrate "A Kid Like Jake" entry at the prestigious film fest.

PC's post reads: "When I read the script of #AKidLikeJake, I knew immediately that this was a story I had to be a part of.. A story that needed to be told and seen..And now it’s been selected for @sundanceorg !!! As earlier reported by DNA AfterHrs, PC will be seen portraying the role of a single mom in her upcoming movie ‘A Kid Like Jake;. She’ll be sharing screen space with Jim Parsons and Claire Danes in this upcoming movie directed by Silas Howard. The movie is based on the play by Daniel Pearle. 

‘A Kid Like Jake’ revolves around a couple named Alex and Greg who have a 4-year-old son named Jake. The little boy does not prefer to dress up as GI Joe but as a princess. Now Priyanka Chopra plays the character Amal who is a close friend of Jake’s parents. This transgender family drama also stars Octavia Spencer and Michaela Watkins.

Apart from this film, Priyanka will also be seen in the movie "Isn't It Romantic?" starring Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth.

She also begun the shooting for season 3 of her American TV Show Quantico in New York.
