Baywatch vs xXx 3: Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra - who won the box office battle?

Like it or not, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have similar career graphs. Both have made it suremely big in Bollywood and now, they are globetrotting and conquering Hollywood as well. 

Both their Hollywood debut films have released. Deepika's xXx 3 released in India first on January 16 and worldwie on January 23. Whereas PC's Baywatch first released in America and then hit screens in India this Friday, a week later. The box office verdict is out.

Like we peviously said, DP's film fared better in the US than PC's. In the opening weekend, DP's film made $20 million in first 3 days and $44 million in total. PC's film might have made $22 million in its extended 4 day weekend but it will not even bring in collections close to DP's Holly film. 

And now, even in India, xXx 3 has taken a bigger lead. Baywatch hardly managed to sink its teeth. It had a disastrous opening of Rs 2.25 crore. But DP's film had grossed Rs 1.75 crore in its paid previews and added a rather decent Rs 6.25 crore on Friday which is almost thrice what Baywatch did! 

So the Hollywood box office verdit is out and we have a clear winner. Deepika has beaten Priyanka and how!
