International critics, a few lucky fans were invited to the Ant-Man and The Wasp screening on Saturday and their early reactions after the screening talk about a fun ride that's far different than the gloom and doom of Avengers: Infinity War.

People are appreciating the fun, entertaining tone of the movie, its charms, and 'cool and creative surprises.'

In the second movie of the Ant-Man franchise Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne finally suits up to play The Wasp and in some scenes overshadows everything and everyone. Set before the events of Avengers: Infinity War, the movie shows Hope and Dr Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) trying to rescue Hope's mother who has been stuck in Quantum Realm. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) aka Ant-Man tries to repair the relationship with his daughter while under house arrest for siding with Captain America in the events of Civil War.

Though Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said that this story will connect to Avengers 4, first reactions reveal that there are no direct answers to the questions haunting the fans after Infinity War.

These reactions also reveal that there are two post-credit scenes and one of which is the 'best part of the film.' The story is 'self-contained.' Michael Pena's Luis is a scene-stealer. Rudd sings karaoke and Stan Lee's cameo is the best one so far.
